RALEIGH - The State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) today announces bipartisan endorsements for the general election in November. The endorsements are made through SEANC’s Employees Political Action Committee (EMPAC), which is a member-led subsidiary.

RALEIGH – The State Employees Association of North Carolina's Board of Governors recently voted to extend the contract of Dana S. Cope, executive director of SEANC, for an additional five years. Cope has served as the SEANC executive director since April 2000.

The General Assembly succeeded in overriding Gov. Beverly Perdue's veto of the budget today, clearing the way for the first pay raise for state employees and retirees since 2008. State employees also receive five extra days of annual leave.
